Accessibility statement

Korvi is committed to making its project and governance platform usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technologies.

Conformance target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, motor, auditory and cognitive impairments.

What we've done

  • Keyboard access — every interactive control can be reached and operated with a keyboard. Dialogs and drawers trap focus while open, close on Esc, and return focus to the control that opened them.
  • Visible focus — a clear, consistent focus outline shows which element the keyboard is on.
  • Text alternatives — form fields have accessible names, images have text descriptions, and status shown with colour (for example red/amber/green ratings) is always paired with text so it does not depend on colour alone.
  • Structure — pages use proper headings and landmark regions, and a "skip to content" link lets keyboard and screen-reader users bypass the navigation.
  • Contrast — text and interface colours are chosen to meet the AA contrast ratio, and the interface works in both light and dark themes.
  • Automated checks — our test suite runs automated accessibility checks (axe-core) against key pages on every change, alongside manual review.

Known limitations

Accessibility is ongoing work. Areas we are still improving include richer screen-reader announcements for live-updating content, and content brought in from connected third-party tools (such as delivery boards), whose accessibility we do not control.

This statement reflects Korvi's current state and is reviewed as the product changes. Korvi holds no patient or clinical data; it stores staff and project-governance information only.
